About Dr. Bleicher

Endocrinologist focused on diabetes, thyroid, and metabolic disease

Dr. Jeremy Bleicher got his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University's College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2010 and completed his internal medicine residency and endocrinology fellowship at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami by 2015. He also picked up a Master of Public Health along the way โ€” a degree that pushed him to think about prevention and long-term disease patterns, not just what's in front of him in the exam room.

He went into endocrinology because the conditions that drew him in, diabetes, thyroid disease, metabolic syndrome, don't resolve in a single visit. Managing them well requires patients to understand what's actually happening in their bodies over time. That kind of ongoing, educational relationship with patients turned out to be the part of medicine he cared most about.

His practice runs the full range of endocrine conditions. He manages Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, including insulin therapy, glucose monitoring, and the metabolic complications that build up over years. He also sees a lot of thyroid disease, PCOS, pituitary disorders, and patients with elevated cholesterol or metabolic syndrome where weight is a central piece of what's going wrong.

GLP-1 medications changed the landscape for him. They started as diabetes drugs and have become a real tool for metabolic management more broadly, something he was watching before they became a mainstream conversation. He now gets a lot of patient questions about the newer agents coming through the pipeline and tries to stay ahead of the data.

He practices at two Endocrinology Care locations in South Florida, in North Miami Beach and Homestead. He's board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine in both internal medicine and endocrinology.

His role here is as a clinical reviewer on the endocrinology side. When we publish content on GLP-1 medications or the metabolic science behind weight loss, he reviews the detail to make sure what we're putting out holds up clinically.
